is one of the pioneer institutions of India, which came into existence
prior to independence. The institution serves the need for technical
manpower at the highest level with distinction. It has been serving the
society with zeal and has been fulfilling its societal obligations with
distinctions ever since its inception. The recent changes in the economic
policies of India, ushering in an accelerating growth rate and ensuring
intense world competition, have thrown new challenges to institutes like
PEC. The college has risen to the occasion, as always, and resolves to
provide talented, skilled and highly competent human resource to the
industry and society.
The following pages give
an idea of the background of the college and some of the activities and
facilities available at PEC. The college entered into the Golden Jubilee
Year in 1997 with renewed commitment to work for objectives it has set for
itself. As we progressed we kept getting more and more confident.
